Our Work Step Out - Step Free
Step Out-Step Free is a curriculum targeted to the issues of life and faith for inmates.
The curriculum is designed for interactive small groups and is taught over a period of two weeks.
The material is self-confrontational, faith-based and structured to encourage a readiness to change and personal growth. The curriculum has been written and adapted to reflect a melanesian/pacific cultural context and also a correctional context.
The Step Out-Step Free curriculum and follow-on counseling has been endorsed by the Fiji Correctional Service for its correctional facilities and is now operating in Nasinu, Women’s and Naboro Correctional Centres.
